Blessed
I have always strived to be the best. Best at what you ask. Everything and anything. Through school I wanted to be the top student, in sports I wanted to be the all star, at work the top employee, etc. But I have learned in my ripe old age at 21, that I need a reminder every once and awhile, to slow down , and look at all that I'm blessed with. Not that I need to necessarily stop striving to do better, but to appreciate whats right in front of me. I have a the most wonderful husband in the world. He is truly my best friend, and the love of me life. We have dated off and on since the second grade. I still remember in second grade exchanging my sucker for our first kiss. LOL. I truly believe God made us for each other. I have a loving and caring family, that includes three younger sisters and one younger brother. I was lucky enough to marry into the best family, that loves and supports us through everything. I have a beautiful house and a wonderful job. I am truly undeserving of all that I have. Thank you God for all your many blessings.

Volleyball
Well, the game didn't turn out exactly how I had it pictured in my mind. LOL. The girls did a great job and I am really proud of them, even if we didn't win. This was their first ever volleyball game so they were all pretty scared and I think a little shocked. We will just have to practice a little more on certain areas and less on others. I was as nervous as the girls were. I tried hiding it, but I didn't know what I was doing for the most part. I just hope by the end of the season the girls have the fundamentals down, and love to play. I want them to have fun and smile and laugh. Hopefully the next game we will be able to see what the girls can really do.

Volleyball
Tonight is my little teams first volleyball game. We have practiced for several weeks now, so I think we're ready. I am so proud of the girls. I'm amazed at how quick they can adapt and catch on to new things. This is my first year coaching and I hope that I've given the girls a good foundation to build upon. I love playing sports, and I miss it dearly. So coaching has helped ease that void.

Taxes
Well, we got our taxes done last night. Ask me how it went??? Like it always does we have to pay in again. GGGGGRRRRRR!!! I guess there is nothing to do but to pay it and go on. Luckily it wasn't as bad as last years. I have been trying to get stuff together for my husband to start college this summer. I am so happy that he finally decided that he has had enough of the construction world. Not saying there is anything wrong with the construction world. Bryant makes great money and he loves the guys he works with. He has just decided that there is more out there. We still are a ways from him graduating first with his associates and then on to his Bachelors, but I know this is a investment for the future. The only bad part is we were talking about starting a family in June, and even though I'm sure everybody would be fine with that still. I know that it would be smarter to wait till Bryant is in a stable career. Everyone around us are becoming parents, and I want a child so bad. I know that someday we will be glad we waited.. Only God knows when the time will be right..

Family
It's my sister's 19 birthday. I can't believe how old she's getting. I am only two years older than her but I feel decades older. I have always tried my hardest to protect her. Always be her shoulder to cry on, and the person she runs to for advise. A person that she can look up to.
But the older she gets the more I learn, that she doesn't need protecting. She just needs me to be her sister. She has grown to be a wonderful, caring person. She is a wonderful Mother to a beautiful soon to be two year old. A mother with such patience, I envy.
I continue to find myself learning more form her each and everyday. I am very proud of the woman that she has become. Happy Birthday!!!!!!

MyLife
Hi, my name is Brittany Burk. I live in Clever,MO with my husband Bryant. We just recently purchased our first house in October and are adjusting to the world of living in a neighborhood. We both grew up in a very small town, just so you understand how small I had 13 in my graduating class. I have no children at the moment, but we do have a mini pin named Rufus. He most defiantly is a Daddy's boy. Bryant does construction and I work as a application analyst. We love every sport possible, especially the St. Louis Cardinals and love going church. We are extremely blessed and surrounded by a loving & caring family.
